As we are currently in lockdown, I invite all practitioners who have civil cases involving landlord & tenant disputes, boundary disputes, succession law, etc to consider having those cases fast tracked for hearing through case progression, The civil case progression process is a proven method of streamlining cases in that it allows for the parties to finalise all outstanding matters in a case and to narrow the issues for determination before the Judge. In many cases, it also facilitates a frank dialogue between counsel, solicitors and the parties themselves which might also result in a resolution of the case.
I would ask any practitioners who wish to avail of this process to email me at jamesseymour@courts.ie and I will organise a remote civil case progression hearing (via Zoom or Pexip) at times and on dates convenient to both parties.
